Sarah began her bodywork studies in 1989, learning shiatsu and ki-taiso (a rapid and efficient way of opening the energetic channels in the body) for a year at The British School of Oriental Therapy & Movement.
Through further training in anatomy, physiology and body massage (ITEC) and advanced massage techniques she began to incorporate eastern approaches towards the body with western anatomical and physiological form.
From 2000 she spent the next 5 winters studying the northern style of traditional Thai yoga massage, yoga and meditation in a small hill tribe village in north Thailand with the Sunshine Network. During this period she also assisted in teaching Thai yoga massage and yoga in Thailand, India and Italy. Whilst in Asia she also spent time studying ayurvedic massage in an ayurvedic hospital in Kerala, south India.
Sarah gained her Practitioner Diploma in CranioSacral Therapy in 2007 with The West London School of Therapeutic Massage and has studied CranioSacral Therapy levels I and II at The Upledger Institute.
